will disco 200 tdi turbo fit on 200 tdi

i know this may be a stupid question but will a disco turbo 200tdi fit on a defender, with any modifications or anything needed?

Yup, check paddocks website for turbos and notice the part numbers are the same :)

a disco 200tdi turbo is different to a defender 200tdi turbo,

now im still confused from what i have seen they are different slightly but will it fit?

I was always told that they would fit?

There is a slight power difference in the two I believe, but surely the difference should be minimal?

the turbos themselves are the same
but
the exhaust elbow is different and also the exhaust manifold is aswel

without going outside and looking at my 2 90s to see the difference, afink the wastegate ( off top of head ! ) is on the opposite side to the pressure side of the turbo

yup your right dan, the wastegate is on the opposite side to the turbo on a 200 tdi DEFENDER engine  ;)
