Happy Holidays
« on: September 19, 2008, 19:43:41 »
Well just got back for a nice little brack down south wales at a nice little place called tenby.
Took my disco with 5 people and all the luggage so boot was full and top box. Had a good week weather was kind to us with only one days rain. And my old disco ran great did over 5oo miles and used only £80 on fuel getting about 14mpg not bad for a old v8.

On the up side we have said that next year we are going to do a tour of france war sites and places off the beaten track so i have been given permission form the boss that i can buy a 110 csw as its got to take 5 people two tents plus all the stuff we need (as three of the group are woman LOTS of stuff). So now looking for a nice 110 csw :D

My wife's family originally come from Tenby so we went there a couple of years ago; lovely place, really nice.

To be fair 'originally came from' is relative; they emigrated in 1820 or thereabouts, nobody remembered them.
