so turning off blue tooth and the radio helps you stop faster in which way? I am confused here but sounds clever

thats nothing - brake hard in my 90 and it automatically veers violently to either the left or right without moving the steering - and without affecting the stereo at all!
Mine does that too :lol:but I think mines a loose wire :-k  :lol:every time I press the loud pedal the cd skips, then cruse and it's ok :-k

Neighbours peugot diesel thingy, has a similar system but his hazards lights also come on for a very short period
If you brake heavy and sharply in our Merc it draws the brake pedal away from your foot and brakes harder. Haven't actually had to emergency stop in it so don't know what else it does. Always thought about just trying it but a bit cautious in case something bad happensThese Germans are quite clever bright ;)Z~
Brakes? You lot are just showing off

For the first time since I bought Bagheera I had to REALLY REALLY stop quickly because some twonk drove straight out in front of me without looking. I had about 1.5 car lengths to stop in, and I was doing 30....
I have an emergency braking sound. When I have to brake heavily, there is sometimes a loud bang from the rear of the Disco. It sounds somewhat like a car hitting a towbar.
Whats a CD
I know we've got (basically) the same engine as you, but I'd hazard a guess that the brakes are better, even if only due to the lower weight of the vehicle.I know they're good when I've had the odd chav pull out & try to beat it
