Skull Splitter

The future of Skull Splitter is being debated at the House of Commons, I would have thought they had better things to keep them occupied at the moment

Now that I know where to get it maybe it's time to see if it does what it says on the label

unreal, I remember having a couple of pints of it at the Reading Beer and Ale Festival.  Considering it is a strong ale, the taste was simply gorgeous.

If it were an alcopop, I could maybe understand the complaint, but that market is taken care of with special brew.

How utterly rediculous. I do wish these people would just get a life.

What a load of crud! You can't have a beer called 'Skull Splitter', yet it is ok for underage kids to get hold of computer games like grand theft auto and others of that ilk.

Is the name Skull Splitter any better or worse than this?

Penny Arcade ran a cartoon recently that seems appropriate: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/8/11/

Seriously, if they actually want to do something about drunken thuggery then they need to start by figuring out why "drink too much, start random fight or turn into whiny overgrown toddler" is considered a good night out by some ape descendants. But then again dealing with the social problems would be rather harder and potentially more vote-losing than demanding a brewery change a product name...

I heard about a butchers in North Wales that made an award winning sausage called 'Dragon Sausages'.

They were told they had to change the name 'coz there is no dragon in them!!

These people need to get a life and a worth while job!!

The future of Skull Splitter is being debated at the House of Commons

I think our over paid elected representatives should be busying themselves to work out how they will get my money back out of another bank I didn't want to buy without completely ruining me by devaluing my house overnight or sending my latest job to the far east along with the last one.

They really need to learn to keep their noses to themselves in other matters.  If we were offended we wouldn't buy it, it's called consumerism.

What was it someone said of the Liebour party? "help us to control you", it's like a bad joke from Red Dwarf.

Well said.

I sometimes wonder why we pay these people to look after our country when they patently have far too much time on their hands.
