Price of parts
« on: October 13, 2008, 22:34:21 »
Im thinking about breaking my disco and im wondering what the parts are worth on it. There is

x5 265/75/16 insa turbo special tracks - about 1.5k max old
guardian winch bumper, not tubular one
equipe tank guard
paddock aluminium steering guard
H/D rear bumper
Rock sliders, made shorter to suit....
3 door 50mm flexi arches
td5 headlights
and possibly a goodwinch tds 9.5 winch with 10mm bowrope on.

Its a 1995 3 door v8 and tbh its in pretty poor condition! The boot floor seems solid enough and the inner wings have been patched up so its got about 10 months mot but there aint a straight panel on it and i recently flooded the inside with about 6 inches of water!
Its had new wheel bearing, discs pads and a a 200 tdi conversion on the rear axle and i have got a 100 litre boot mounted lpg that i never fitted.

I am sure there is more stuff on it but i cant think of it right now!

Gavin.

Bank on perhaps 50% of what you paid new, on a good day.  Factor in that no one's got any money either and the price of the cars is going down too.

I would be interested in some of those bits. If you do decide to break it, let me know and we can negotiate a price which includes me coming and helping you strip em off if needed :)
