sorry hairy i didnt mean as a permenant fix it was just to get her through the test before i started to"tart"her up and had loads of spare time,as i needed to use her on the road to collect spares/parts due to injury,i dont condone this sort of thing but i new it was jus a temp fix and was first on my to do list.

just rmemeber those two holes could turn into something much worse. have a good poke around... and i mean bring a screwdriver with you to actually POKE!

sorry hairy

Sorry  Dont mean to come across that hard but how many 'temporary fixes' get put to the back of the list cause 'it'll do' or 'it passed last year' then you end up with a disaster

I know its easy for me to say weld it, I can probably weld quicker than others can bodge it but it will double your work load and ££££'s in the end  ;)

Good idea, take all the time you need, if you know someone handy with the welder, take them with you  ;) and buy the welder a beer or 2
