Which 300 timing belt?
« on: October 27, 2008, 22:50:21 »
Cam belt's due - and I'm not sure which set of idler / tensioner I need.

I'm sure there's two types available...????

I do know this engine has had the modded pulley kit the last time it was done, though.

Anyone out the that can help me?

Cheers.

Bearmach do a timing belt kit for the 300TDi engine - the belt is Dayco (OE spec), the crank sprocket is a one-piece item, so doesn't fall apart on you. Everything you need comes in the kit - belt, idler, tensioner, and gasket. If you need seals, such as timing cover dust seal, crank front seal, and cam seal, then you will have to buy them seperately.
