TD5 Bulkhead swap
« on: October 28, 2008, 15:39:02 »
I will need to swap the Bulkhead on my 200tdi. The dash is also in poor shape and the heater is not working, so I was thinking about getting a TD5 bulkhead with all the bits still attached.
I found a post on hear about making the bulkhead fit but what about doing a full upgrade for the TD5 one including heater, Dash, steering etc.

has anyone done the before?
The TD5 dash is digital, does this mean it runs the clocks from the ECU? I think the pedals would need to be swapped because 200tdi needs a cable.
Would it be a case of cutting the Loom and connecting it all to the rest of the wiring or better to get a 200tdi loom and run the original clocks.

Thanks,

Matt

Not started it yet.

Just had to spend loads of money on my house so Im putting this project back till after Xmas. I am still going to do it if I find a good TD5 bulkhead for the right money.
I will take some photos when I do it.
