My mate got a G reg 90 2.5 td with 102k on it for £1750 a little while back. Its had no welding done on the chassis and had no knocks or dints.

Its just a case of keeping a eye out.

Gavin.

Paid £2400 for mine with all the kit cage, lift, sliders, mud tyres, exmoor seats, lairy paint job and its a 300 tdi on a 300 chassis, my advice just keep your eyes open and cash is king  best bargaining tool ever.

Can't really post any pics up, but I built a 110 CSW 300tdi for just over £3k, I could have sdone it cheaper, say £2k. But that was a full on rebuild from V8 CSW to 300tdi, using a disco I bought for the engine and box. I'm pleased with the results, but seriously for £2k you should get a nice one these days, but make sure you know what your looking at and that you have the sach in your pocket, you wouldn't belive what you can get off the price.
