heavy duty clutch for samurai
« on: February 28, 2005, 11:58:47 »
Hi peoples,
Does anyone know of or even where to purchase the mythical beast known as the heavy duty samurai (sj413) clutch in the u.k.? Found on many an American site but not it seems on this side of the pond. My clutch has just gone, and if I gotta pay nearly 200 quid for a new one to be fitted might as well make it a proper un!!
Any help appreciated.
                             Cheers
                                       Fram

Hi mate,
Yeah saw there ad in a mates catalogue today, £149 for a competition paddle clutch, though what the paddle bit is I dont know?
Its a possibility though will have to give them a ring in the morning to find out a bit more.
                       Cheers for the info,

Thanks for that mate, doesnt really sound like what I need then. I am basicly just after a normal clutch that is a bit beefier as 6000 revs in 2nd gear low box and slipping the clutch dont do em much good, I love the smell of asbestos in the morning......!!

Hi guys,
Sheesh, the beast is costing me some dough, 70 quid today for a starter motor......180 quid tomorrow for a clutch....  Still for what she cost and the abuse she gets not bad really, still cheaper than anything coming out of solihull....!!!
