i got a 300tdi disco.. well the gearstick is leaning to the one side,, over to 1st gear way,, any ideas what that can be,, spring ect ect

Its the gate springs on the gear lever, the cost pennies from any landy shop. Pull the centre console out, unbolt the plate on the top of the box and replace springs, then put the plate back in and voila.

thanks, are these the 2 springs that push the lever in line,, help on with 1 nut/bolt each 10mm i think are they,, how hard are they to do m8

also on the r 380 the springs relly on a plate to centralize the springs . the plates fracture . is an easy fix . or can re weld . done a couple now .alan ...

done it,, it was a snapped spring on there,, i knw wt u mean about dun drop the bolts lol,, i found out the hard way lol.....
