Series 3 Tub Removal
« on: November 09, 2008, 13:41:53 »
Hi

I have just started to strip down my series 3 so that I can have a good look at the chassis. Can anyone tell me, will I need to remove the diesel tank to get the tub off.

Also and this is a big ask, would anyone with a diesel series be able to take a picture of the diesel pump / injector as it looks like mine has been bodged at some time and I am not sure what it should look like where the throttle cable and engine stop cable attach.

Many Thanks

Steve

im pretty sure you just have to femove the fill lines and breather line for the tank, but you dont have to take the tank out

Thanks Guys for the response

I seems that there are 2 bolts that go through a bracket on the chasssis and come out behind the fuel tank.
