headlight connection where can i buy?

Hi all

turn the lights on and the connector on the back of the front lights smokes quite dramatically and is now all melted.

Anyone klnow where i can buy connector and crimps?
P reg 300 tdi Discovery, very slow, sluggish and standard but i am working on it.......

I had the same problem and took one off a spare disco in my mates yard in the dark. When I got it back into the workshop it was melted as bad as the one I was taking off.

Scratching my head for a minute I realised its not a landrover part - any car using 3 pin halogens of that type uses the same connection. I promptly whipped one off a Citroen and voilà, le Disco sorted :)

They are a standard fitment on most cars, try your local motor factors or Halfords.

if you call sed in guildford the part number is 0-539-51 they do come as a box of 5
