What a month (and next couple)

2 cars have MOT due today
1 has tax due today
The landy has MOT due next week
Another tax on the 1 April
and Another on the 1 May

Thank god the Series 3 is on a SORN, it's MOT is in July thankfully.

Think I need to get rid of some

Yes, there is a lot to be said for only being able to afford ONE motor  :D

That does not mean that I dont want a few more :wink:

Discovery 300tdi - Clarity - went into rear of Audi A3
Discovery 300tdi - D'une  - went bang
Discovery TD5 - unnamed - just went

I think yr big blue SIII is the dogs danglers but aint gonna happen :cry:

Not enough funds and Julie wouldnt let me :wink:

The only prob with having mots in winter is unless you have a nice warm place  big enough to work in, it can be expensive or cold to sort it out, swinging my mots on the vehicles to summertime, and tax staggered out to a later date

well the 2nd car - my Galant  V6 failed. - excess play in n/s front bottom ball joint

it's only 4 years old.

Going to cost me £110 + vat to fix.

What is the joint, some of these are bolt on units, with fairly easy access to do. Others can be riveted, but come with nuts & bolts to refit when you have drilled/knocked out the rivets.

Thats presuming its not a complete arm

I hate that - the price whilst outrageous is probably fair in this case.  I don't know what UK law is like but here in NZ I'd try invoking the Sale of Goods legislation and get them to replace it for free based on "reasonable lifespan".

The defender failed its mot today  :cry:

2 things -

broken number plate - thanks to the last outing at weston coyney (thought I may have got away with it)

centre brake pipe corroded.

not bad really for a 12 year old and cheaper to get through than my 4 year old galant.  :D
