ok, first thing first everey landrover is different. some things you can get away with some you cant depending on the vehicle it sounds like you are getting bump steer which is a problem when the vehicle is lifted and the panhardrod and radius arms move seperatley to each other.

as for creeking that will be the pollybushes, our TD5 does it, nothing to worry about!

there isnt really a quick cheap fix! like i say it could be either radius arm or your panhard rod. it could even be your track rod not moving correctley as it will have also have been moved in the lift. paddocks are/were doing an adjustable panhard rod for about 50 quid i think. i would start there. if not then change the TRE on the trackrod if all is not well after that then your looking at castor corrective stuff!

would be an idea yes, but like i say the job would be much easeyer with the ajustable panhard rod.

First This isn't a dig it's a serious question...

Have you tightened all the wheel nuts after refitting...not an insult .... or calling you daft.... ;)

I only ask as I had a transit a few years back and the nuts on the wheels were not tightened up after fitting new front brakes (garage not me)they worked loose
a couple of days later then I could hear a squeeking noise at low speeds like rubber shoes on a shiney floor and when cornering it would sort of flop into the corners...

I didn't think to check the wheel nuts and asked a mate to walk next to the van down the carpark to see where the noise was comming from after about 30 feet he said stop and reached down and unscrewed one of the nuts the half a thread left on ,,, I'd lost a couple too

Honest not taking the mick....Honest ;)
so many hills , so little time ....

work in progress...lol

I know it teaching granny to suck eggs but if you've done a 2" suspension lift you ready should consider castor correction hockey sticks.

Hockey sticks in meant to say!

castor correction panhard rods (hockey sticks to you and me)

Hockey sticks or radius arms maybe, but the panhard rod is the other link holding the front axle in place and is positioned side/side across the vehicle rather than radius arms which are positioned for/aft

that is not true! you dont need the castor corrected arms! they will help no doubt but if you do that you will need wide angle props and all that they will do is improve your steering lock by mms. there are also no after market arms out there that are as strong as the LR ones!

and a panhard rod does effect it as it, will work best when its flat....if you lift it it becomes elivated and angled and doesnt provide as much positive axel location, not to mention it is also twisting slightley!

You can also get castor corrected swivels, which might be a better bet as they mean you can keep the standard radius arms and the propshaft won't be as stressed.

Castor correction swivels are a relatively new develop I  think. For those of us that have been around a while!

But yes castor correction swivels will do the trick.

I was told that when you lift a landrover and dont fit castor corrected arms / bushes / swivels, what ever. the steering will not self center like should until the castor is corrected. there for the steering would give the feel of doing what it wants. Have you extended your brakelines?

Just to add my 2p worth.
As Boss correctly stated each LR is different and will act so once lifted.
With a 2 inch lift you shouldn't need castor correction arms etc. Your main problem regarding the steering will be worn bushes and ball joints.
The lift will highlight any slightly worn component, so before splashing cash on things you might not need check the radius arm bushes and bolts, the steering arm ball joints and my old faverite the pan hard rod bushes.
Chances are one or more of these will be worn.

Did you change the panhard rod bush.
It made a big difference to my steering.I found the bolt was worn more than the bush.

The creaking is proably the new bushes, but if you've replaced all the TREs and not had it tracked, I'm not surprised the steerings out

sorted it stuck old tyres on and its ok but one thing i had done wrong was useing alloy wheel nuts on steel wheels
so wheels moved slightly so now got to get some wheel nuts so as they go into the slot rather than sit on top ott the countersunk hole
