Would be nice, but I  think unlikely in Warwickshire where I'm from as current weather isn't far from the norm for this time of year other than a could snap in October that i, which suggests wet.
I believe the official rules for a White Christmas is snowflake falling on the MET office HQ in London, that one I think 1996, But I believe you can bet for any city in the country.

A BIG yes from me.
I'm not working Christmas day and they always get the ploughs fitted on the gritters when I have time off.

That being  I can take the mini out for a spin as I've been told they are much more fun to drive than Range Rovers in the snow!!!

Yes, Well sort off, I believe they have someone do an hourly check of a snow gauge (probably an infa red device of some form) on the roof of the MET Office.
If my memory of it is correct they only need to find 2 snow flakes to declare a white chistmas.

Oh yes, I would agree with that! My old Mini had a 1400cc engine and a fly off handbrake. Excellent fun in the snow!

Mini's in the snow?? Fun fun fun!!

I used to live near the Rolls Royce factory in Glasgow and they had HUGE car parks which were always empty in snowy weather

I remember doing 70 miles an hour on the ice and not actually moving!!
