Now that, I think you'll agree, is a bit more like it!

Picked em up this morning but I've had to go to work. Can't wait to fit them tomorrow :)

Hehe, cheers lads. Well spotted sir, they are 7.50 R16, so around the 255/85 size I think, about 32" dia.

Ok, managed to fit them yesterday and yes, they rub everywhere so plenty of chopping needed (Or perhaps a 1" body lift....):)

They are Recip Trail which I believe is a bit of a Mickey Thompson tread rip off. They seem good on the road, not too noisy and no handling/stopping issues so far.

I have 4 x 7.50 R16 and 1 x 335/85/16 as a spare. I probably looked at the same sites as you for tyre sizes so imagine my surprise when I measured them. As you say the 7.50 is only marginally taller but its almost a full inch wider. So I reckon maybe 255/80? or somthing similar. You'd have to see them together to tell but there is a difference.

For those that are wondering, 5 tyres with less than 200 miles on them mounted on 5 new black modulars - a smidgin over £300 on ebay.

Cheers Boss, I dont usually drop pressures but I'll bear that in mind.

Pics I've just taken, just not had a minute this weekend, working at the moment but just done a 45 mile round trip to Crosby and back - 70mph on motorway was ok, and considering its pi55ing down, no traction issues at all.

I had a set of recip trails on my Suzuki, i ran them at road pressures even at pay and plays at minety which is a mud bath.

They only let me down when the truck ground out. Very good tyres for the money.
