The member of the public who calls in doesn’t want to get too close and put themselves in danger, so they let a paramedic or police officer put themselves in danger instead. Because of course, emergency responders are made of steel and can’t get hurt.

I do not agree full stop with violence towards the emergency services, but saying that about the caller is just plain wrong.We are shown stories day in day out of good samaritans who end up very badly beaten up or dead. Would it have made it onto his blog if the samaritan had in fact gone to help and been the one taken to hospital?? i dont think they would.As said, am having a dig at the blog poster for that comment, not the actual thing that happened, which as Dazza said, is completely sickening.
