Christmas Night Out... Police style
« on: December 14, 2008, 13:15:17 »
3pm Knock Off work, to the local Pub for a few words of wisdom from the Inspector and the skippers “Thanks for you your efforts we are all one big team etc etc etc “

4pm Taxis to Town couple of pints and a chaser just to start the evening,

7pm Bloody great meal more pints, Start to hear the truth come out about who hates who and why and who is shagging who. The inspector says stop calling me sir call me "Dave" oh god my new best friend!

10pm the light weights have now gone home to their wives and (mothers) talk starts of going to the lap dancing club we raided last week.

11pm the first signs of the police family good will are now going out the window about now, as the effects of 10 pints takes over self control and your realise the nearest you are going to get to a pole dancer is to share a boogie with a drunk polish builder you niked for peeing in the street a week ago... Its time to leave!

1am after being refused entry to the only club that is not full of the local teenagers and chavs that you have spent all year chassing about town its time to visit the KEBAB store for a slice or 2 of Elephants Arse cheek covered in garlic sauce. While you are buying your elephants arse the local chaves have spotted you are are grouping by the window. You ignore the abuse as you leave.

2am After standing in the freezing cold for a taxi and a further slagging off from the shift of another nick who are trying to keep order nearby its time to get home along with the jolly fellow who has managed to wet himself and that no taxi dirver will entertain.

Happy Christmas!
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

Sounds good!
The ones I went to were always a bit too formal for my liking, hence the reason I don't go to Job related functions any more. That and being asked 'not to attend' after I got a bit leary at one bash, had a lot of ale, started a food barrage on another shift from the town, using the battle cry of 'Don't mess with the County Mounties' and accidentally hit the Chief Inspector's wife with a stray Brussel sprout.
