I can not think of where in North Wales that is, so I think its not. But I could be wrong.

I think i recognise that ridge but not 100% sure, is there a small stream that runs down near where the tent is?

Looks like Moel Siabod's lower eastern slopes, is that the track that goes over near the old quarry cottages up from Capil Curig?

I do not think so, I can not remember every driving passed a run down house/shed like that.

There are numerous places in Mid Wales with ruined cottages like those, but the landscape doesn't look like any bits of Mid Wales I have seen. It's not dissimilar to the wilderness up around Cwmystwyth but it looks bigger and more rugged if that makes sense. I would suggest maybe Scotland?
