Man Flu sucks!

Day 3: woke up at 5am with 3 layers on, under the quilt, central heating blasting, shivering. Chest hurts, head is pounding from coughing fits.

Painted red cross on front door, checking myself for swollen lumps, developed chronic fear of BBC's "Survivors" (and "The Stand")....

I took delivery of a nice little package of it the night before I was due to start back on the last run of shifts before finishing on a night on the 24th. Called up work and said I won't be in. I dare say my name is now something worse than mud.
I just find the whole thing a strain. I hate not being able to sleep properly, I hate just sitting around watching crap on tv and also feeling as weak as kitten. :x
My conspiracy theory is that this is a bug let out by the manufacturers of cough mixtures and flu remedies, as they know no one wants to be sick over the Christmas period.

Got it here too from a Dude at work  :evil:  Mrs_D also has it.. though clearly not as bad a Man-Flu.

It seems to be more of a tradition than the giving of gifts at Christmas in our house  :(
