I've all ways ran twin choke webbers on my landys, the stock carbs are rubbish.Does the carb look like this one?
This webber is fitted to my LWT.You will need the spacer block jobbie to fit your webber to the manifold.

The *made to fit many engine....(badly)* 34ICH (which is single choke) is a renowned for being an awful carb for a Series with is carb freezing, bad jetting to be lean to get its 'economic label'. The stock genuine zenith in a serviced condition is much better. A lot of people replace a worn out. warped, knackered zenith with a 34ICH and get a miracle change in performance when in fact standing there pouring fuel from a can directly into the manifold would have been an improvement over their old carb. But the argument about the 34ICH and the Zenith is age old and all over the internets with no clear out come other than 34ICH sux :dance:If the original poster finds he has any hope of mating that carb to the engine he'd better also see if it can be jetted for the engine to get it into the right ball park for running.
Coupled with an ACR stage 2 head, regularly got my old lwb s3 up to 85mph, so not trouble with fueling either.
I binned that 'orrible 34ICH in favour of a Zenith copy. Much improved performance throughout the rev range, particularly at the top end. But, it seems the Zenith isn't particularly keen on steep sideslopes to the right, I've had my engine almost die several times and it always appears to be from flooding at that angle.
