sitting here bored waiting for spring to arrive so i can start working on my landy....and also play with my other toy......

if i can still see my bonnet then the water aint deep enough!!!!

I've had two SD1's in my time, although not a Vitesse sadly. They could, and should, have been such a great car, but in usual BL manner they botched most of them. When they are sorted out properly, they a brilliant cars IMHO.

My V8 was a bit of a dog in Mexico Brown (lovely!) but I had a 2.6 VP in superb condition. Pity about the engine though. Used more fuel than the V8  :shock:

Has yours had the self levelling rear suspension removed? I always felt they were much nicer with a standard setup.

nice motor not many about now see one in adtreder a couple of months back over 3k but they do drive nice and they have some power would like to get one  but sadly not to many for sale most of the 3.5 had there engines rip out for donar vecheils

Nice...............!!!!!!!!!!! Not many of those left. Is it a twin plenum v8 vitesse, it has the correct front splitter, doesnt it? Im really not old enough to remember!!!

well like you i was an escort /capri man   then i moved on to cosworths

this is the only sd1 i have ever owned although we used to cruise around in one when younger because my pal had one

this is the only pic i have to hand at the mo, as the motor is locked up in storage till the spring

remember when they came out in 76,was in DUNSTER by the castle and saw my first one whilst on holiday. A friend of Grandad's had one...in White, and he picked me up in it from school, THEN a girl i was seeing from school her dad had a V8-S, in green with gold wheels..still like em now

First time I been in a car (as passenger) doing over 130mph was in one of them on the A48, never did get in that guys car again. Don't think I been in a sd1 since either.

The only thing i really hated about the SD1 was the funny shaped steering wheel :doh:
