Stub axle

I'm about to change a CV joint and drive flange on my 200tdi, due to the splines being badly worn  :( .  Are the bearings in the stub axle all the same ?, it's a 24 spline non abs.    cheers.

Do you mean the two wheel bearings? in which case yes, but there is two different oil seals.

Sorry not very clear there,  i mean the needle roller bearing which goes in the stub axle .

OK, Unfortunately my parts manual is down the garage and I'm housebound with the lurgy!!

If you had entered 'stub axle bearing' into the search box on Paddocks you would have seen that FTC861 is the part number for 90, 110, RR and Disco, so yes they are all the same.

Just done exactly this.

Paddocks sell a kit, comes with all the gaskets you need (except swivel to axle) and all the seals you need (inc swivel seal, which you cant fit because your not removing the swivel co you have no gasket).

Ask for one seperately if you order from them.

You'll need to press or drift the roller bearing into the back of the stub, the oil seal goes in first :)
