Alternator Wiring - 2.5 NA ?
« on: January 31, 2009, 12:52:38 »
I am in the process of replacing my alternator. The new one does not have the connector block like the old one so am looking to wire onto the terminals. The thing is there are 2 brown and 1 yellow and brown wires. the wiring diagrams in Haynes and the Workshop manual only show one brown wire. Am I safe to assume that these connect together onto the new alternator ?

TIA

Both brown wires run to the same place. (starter motor main feed terminal) so you can double up at the alternator connection.
