Fair play, be great to see end result.
*I'd* like to see the end result too!! Took the donor vehicle apart in November 2007 and the new chassis arrived in January last year. I was hoping to get it ready for last years birthday bash in August  No chance! So I'm now hoping to finish it late spring/early summer this year........
My proplem, if you can call it a problem, is that I go to put something back on which is perfectly servicable, but might look a bit scabby. So I clean it up and paint it..... there goes another evenings work!
The corner cappings are case in point. I could have left the NAS lights overhanging but being me, it would have bugged me. So I might as well do it the way I want it first time rather than having to put it right later.
The main aim is reliability. So it has all new wiring, a recon gearbox with an overhauled transfer box. If the engine pops, it's easy enough to change later, but I'd rather not be pulling gearboxes out again if I can avoid it. And the body is getting corrosion removed while I have the chance.
One problem is, once it's all spangly, will I want to use it properly? The first branch scraping down the side will certainly make me cringe :'(
