Hello, I live in Italy and have a small but growing collection of British and American cars.
In spite of childhood nightmares of long journeys crammed in the back of a windowless 88, my latest acquisition is a Landrover, only a Disco V8 ES - my prayers were heard back then
My little brother is also a collector and on this forum I think. He is an automotive designer whereas I am an accountant who knows naff all, hence my car life is a vicarious one of little bro.
Off road experience so far limited to getting stuck in a snowy lane - its a V8 it will be a doddle (yes but even a V8 cant push 50 tons of snow out the way) and plowing into a Ford Focus on sheet ice
Anyway hello and I will look forward to expanding ny vicarious existence to you good people
