If the battery light doesnt light up when you turn on the ignition what is the disco trying to tell you? Mines doing it and im just wondering?
And before anyone says anything the bulb hasnt blown.

On my old 300tdi it was the alternator kaaput - if the red warning light comes on when it's started that confirms it. Learned this from my missus old Metro handbook.
