my old rangie is my pride and joy, love it,but the time is coming where either the rangie has got to go or the passat,i want to run the 1 motor,so i want to keep the rangie, but 3.9 auto is a bit thirsty, and i dont want to gas the rangie, want to convert it to 200tdi and manuel,im a mechanic, and a dab hand at welding,if done this,i would be looking at a complete doner vechile,i know mounts will have to be welded on,any views tips on how to do this, mainly to do with wiring and fuel lines, any help would be much appreciated as always,i know its alot of work, but theres sentimental value in this motor, cheers jim :D
by doing the v8 to tdi you will find you have much more power than the std efi and better fuel economy.
