Mr G

have you had the spark plugs out?? i woulds, and check that they all have the right gap, i have posted for mr wombell on elite4x4 what they should be for the EFi, but it may be  you ECU, did you go through any water?? also check all the Plugs to the ECU under the drivers seat, one may have come loose

if you want to try a ECU or any other bits give us a shout and pop down you can rob them of my trialer,

thats not going to move for a bit,

Mr H, cheers for that, no water, it was running fine, bit lumpy when cold didnt like to idle, it was running fine then lifted off accelerator to slow down for services and thats when it all went wrong :(

Not checked gaps, but wouldnt have thought that would suddenly stop it from working would it?  cheers for offer on ecu may well take you up on that :)

it might do it, i know my old V8 disco when that decided to run rough i pulled the plugs out and they were twice the gap they should have been,

it may also be the dizzy is bent, my mates 3.9 did it that would cut out if he didnt hold the revs up, and it was the dizzy was not close enough on one side so wouldnt make a spark on it,

just another spanner in the works

PM me (on here or through elite) and i will send you my mobile number, im not working at the moment so anytime is ok with me,

Spark to LH bank, no spark to RH bank, was that just the front pair of plugs you checked because the fiting order is a mix of LH and RH bank because the crank is a sprial pattern rather than a flat plane crank (can't remember the posh word for it).

If some are firing and noth others then a bent dizzy could well be to blame, or muck in there stopping it working.

I'd check the plugs too, they should be 30t hou normaly or 27 thou for LPG.

Cheers, found the problem it was the coil, put one in from another 3.5 and it started straight away, put the original into the other one and same problem.
