Volts gauge not working
« on: February 16, 2009, 20:07:28 »
Hi

I've got the standard volts-gauge In my 90's dash (1985), but I've never seen it working.

Being...well...fairly incompetent when it comes to car's electrics (amongst others.... :P..) I was wondering how to check the gauge?
Where do the wires go etc.

Thanks,
Edwin

Hi Edwin
One connection on the gauge will go the the battery -ive terminal or to the chassis.
The other will come from the ignition circuit.
Can you connected straight to a battery just to see if it works.
