Three cheers for Dutch Police !

Breaking news: today two masked robbers were caught on the run by Dutch Police;

Responding to an emergency call, two Police officers on foot :police: spotted three masked men acting suspiciously in the streets of Utrecht city.

One of the officers stopped a passing Pizza-courier and commandeered his moped, while the other officer was spontaneously handed over a scooter by a model-citizen who just happened to be passing by.

Both  Policemen then rushed of in hot pursuit of the masked bad-guys and managed to arrest two of them just minutes later !

Now this isn’t easy for me to say, but today I’m just so proud of the Dutch Police force !!!  :clap:
Just feel a bit sorry for the poor hungry guy who ordered a pizza……  8-[

Good on 'em! Do that in this country and the health and safety people would have a fit!

"You did what? You commandered a moped? Have you done your pizza ped conversion course? tsk tsk tsk, not good enough. I know they were commiting a crime, but you may have traumatised the rider and the Public! You're suspended!"

Saying that, I did once commandeer a pleasure cruiser in Norfolk. That took some explaining :oops:

Sure it wasn't round here last night. I ordered a pizza and it took 2 1/2 for delivery and then they 4got my chips  [-X [-X
