Very nice Disc. Have been following the progress all along. I am in the process of the just about the same to an RRC -so it's nice to have some inspiration.
One thing I would like some more inspiration on is your engine mounts  I am mounting a Disco 200 tdi into my RRC and need to fabricate complete new engine mountings so if you have more pictures of you mounts please post them.

Thanks,

Casper, Denmark

Casper, I did it the easy way and cut the engine mounts out of one of the Land Rovers occupying my Land Rover graveyard, which is a lot easier than fabbing them up.

If you need some and you can't get holdof any in Denmark, send me a PM and I will get a price to send some over ready to weld in. Will try and find some more photos for you in the mean time.

Ok, so I spent today installing the storage today, which was A LOT harder than it sounds!

Hi lift mounts in and bolted down

Found out I can TIG weld, as i made an aluminium bracket up to hold the bottle jack and chock and 27mm socket. (Auxillary battery means I have to move them).

Hi lift in and screwed down behind front seats.

Hi lift 'anti sink' plate clipped on side of storage.

Aforementioned alu bracket on passenger side of storage. (means I don't need to step into the traffic flow to get it out!)

Live and battery earth for rear winch and rear jump start point installed.

Compressor installed and wired up, with Schrader valve accessable from rear door.

CB radio, speaker, and switches wired in and working!

Switches (TOP L - R) - In car winch controls on/off, front spots and lightbar on/off, front worklights, rear worklights. (BOTTOM L -R) Rear LED strobes, roof beacons, front LED strobes.
