What about something a bit different?




A lovely 27ltr V16 Roll Royce Meteor engine? Ok it's fitted to a Rover SD1, but it's road legal and bonkers!!

It's an MG Midget Andy..... where would I sit???  :lol:

What about a 1.8 turbo from a nissan 200sx?  Quick as hell in their day and would be mental in a midget!

There was a six cylinder one built in Oz about 20 years ago. It's still around somewhere. I heard from the owner a couple of years ago through work.

Been doing a bit of research into the Mazda rotary engine. A very compact unit, although a little tall with the alternator on top. Nothing a bit of subtle bodywork won't fix. But 230bhp from the equivalent of a 1308cc motor  :twisted: and in a much lighter car than the RX8.... could be totally bonkers  :lol: Saw a company in the US that builds 6 rotor units at 900bhp  :shock:

Next to see if the 6 speed transmission would fit...... and the diff from the RX8. Then tubular subframes at each end with double wishbones and jobs a good 'un  :lol: Have it done next week!
