new engine fitted

hi fitted new engine saterday with help from henrt and dave the tea boy its a 200 tdi thats done 90000 with full service history the only thing im havi trouble with is pulling away it seem to take ages to pick up the revs in 1st gear mind you it has sat for a years had new clutch fitted and waterpump and timing belt and alternater and belt anyone any ideas ive just put some ingector cleaner in to run it threw hopin it dirty

have you bled it down properly?

If the answer is yes, go out and give it a good thrash see if that helps.

bleed it ok so il let the missus take it out tomorrow she thrashes it alot more than i do so hope it works thanks

hell,didnt know you had to have an engine mate,was it the problem you had at the course the other weekend?,you might want to take the turbo pipe off and turn the spindal with your finger,if its been sitting for a while,it could well of been partially seized mate,either that,or just drop a 3.9 instead :lol: :lol:

no jim it was just the clutch but been wanting to fit this engine for over a year il give the turbo a go like you said and a bit of 3in1 to
