mot time for wifes car

Well i just got back from taking the wifes car for mot and it failed but not on much just steering rack gaiter and a exaust mount it is a 1993 renault espace  i never even checked for its mot and just said to her if it fails on loads due to its age then it will be sold a spares or repairs i was not going to spend pounds on it as i could of got her a newer seven seater but now got the gaiter cost me £11 weld the bracket back onto exaust then back in for retest next week so now got a happy wife as she still got her car and dont have to have the land rover  :lol: :lol:

Had 2 Renault Espace's - and that was 2 too many!
1st we owned for 12 months - and was actually on the road for 3!! snapped driveshafts - ALL engine mounts -2 complete head strip downs - electrical gremlins that made an 70's alpha Romeo look reliable - spark plugs that would unscrew themselves over about 3 miles..the list went on. eventually sold it at a massive loss..only to get a diesel one last year - nice engine - erm thats about it!
Hate em, nowhere to put your left foot - seats feel veryuncomfortable (to me anyway) and a gear change that requires a clairvoyant to work out where the gears are .
Also having 3 kids I had the misfortune to see one get involved in a fairly minor crash - and it came out looking well and truly shreded  :shock:

christ henry dont but a fiat multipla them rubbish ive got a fiat ducato maxi and it on a 07 had 3 sets of front brake discs pads 2 clutches load of problems 7 window screens only done 80000 but spent so much time in garage finding probs id stay clear

Not to mention that in my oppinion they are one of the uglyest cars on the plannet..!!!!!!!!
