people breaking the law

hi everyone if you know that someone who lives in your village is breaking the law by driving arround and is on drugs what would you do as this person nearly ran someone over tonight but dont know what to do i dont want to put my family in danger due to they live in they live in the next street

The local Roads Policing Unit would love to know all about him. From what I recall from my time in Norfolk Plod, there may be an RPU at Kings Lynn or Swaffham.
As Paul said, Crimestoppers is the best way.

I phoned up crimestoppers recently and will never call them again. extremely rude in thier tone of voice and said things in an agressive / cant be bothered with you manner.

In the end THEY hung the phone up on ME.

Next time I will just phone my local police station.

Well what can I say he has been caught for speeding  as the plod was sitting in a gate way  could not see the car until drove past but they way doing a speed check at the time and i saw him getting into a van with braclets on  well done to the police this time but i do hate it when they just pop out at you so someone else must of reported him for speeding through the village aswell luck i was behind a old man doing 30

at least some speed checks do get the bad guys it is a pitty it is not more of them and i think people who takes drugs and drink drive should be banged up for life as when they get into a car knowing that they have been on something that if they have an accident they can kill someone it is just like going out with a loaded gun what should be done is do away with the static speed camaras as people can lie and do more hand guns again then the plod will catch them red handed

Better than a speed check is an ANPR check - Automatic NumberPlate Recognition. A camera reads the vehicle's registration number, then checks it against various databases. If there's a hit, e.g. no insurance recorded, then the Police can stop the vehicle and find out more.

A friend of mine is a Police officer and used to work with the ANPR team. They were never short of customers, and picked up a surprising number of other offences too once they started talking to the driver.

ANPR is an amazing tool and in my opinion it's far better than a speed trap, ( err safety camera ) in that once the plod have an excuse to stop a vehicle they usually find out something far more juicy than just being able to slap a speeding fine on a driver.
Blatant speedsters need slapping, but 33 in a 30 isn't usually life threatening, whereas a car stinking of dope or full of stolen goods is a far better result for society.
After all, a car with no tax, insurance or MOT is usually driven by someone who doesn't give a damn for anything and he/she should pay the price.

nope sadly, then the inocent get hert through mindless censored pepole like them with no concence wev got a family like that hear think they can do as they wish because they have lived hear 30 years + ive put up with it for two years after numerus riports to police who ether cant olr wont do any thing and in the end told them straight your ownership stops at your back gate not in my yard they now have two cars instead of three ;) and have been warned NOT by me but our new nabour that you own your house and have to live hear but we can exchange which I found comical
