« on: April 14, 2009, 22:00:19 »
hi guys and dolls, can anyone tell me where i run cabling for roof lights in my `h` plate disco? i intend to fit some(4?) of the small rectangle type lights along my front crossrail (between standard roofbars). pics of the operation would be a massive help if anyones got any, as im more into picture books than novels!!

have a look under my gallery mate, there 'should' be a picture of where I ran mine..!!!! it's been like that for a year now and all is still well...!!!!!!

It's not the neatest job in the world but I didn't want to do drilling holes in my roof...!!!!!! the rest of the cable runs down the A pillar and behind the dash. hope this helps

It's worth thinking about putting a connecter where the wiring turns across the roof, just in case you need to remove the bar for any reason... saves you undoing wiring all the way back under the bonnet. Ask me how I know...
