The day started well, i got the rangie on the trailer, no bother, got it strapped down and left! Got a few miles up the road and the trailer was fishtailing really badly at low speeds! So pulled over and checked everything, and am glad i did cos one of the ratchets had malfunctioned! So i set about re-strapping the rangie down and then wrapped excess strap around the the ratched a dozen times to ensure it didnt happen. Off i went again and got a few miles further down the road and it was still fishtailing badly, so i pulled in and checked it all.
The straps quite possibly would have been better doing it that way.The rangie was located so the trailer wheels were at the centre of the rangie, as i was always told to do this to distribute the weight!
