Synthetic Oil
« on: March 20, 2005, 20:29:22 »
Can this type of oil be used in a '97 300 2.5TDi engine??

I did change the Shogun over to this and it doubled the length of time between oil changes, saving alot of dosh over 12 months as the interval was 4500 miles between changes
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

Yes is the simple answer and if you've not bought any already, Difflock do a great range of synthetic oils for Land Rovers

yep, I agree the prices seem realy good.

Does the engine need to be flushed before changng to the synthetic or just the old stuff drained and the new synthetic poured in?? I dont know what they did at Mitsubishi cos it was under warranty and they did it on a service
