Having finally found a 1990 Landcruiser II/Prado in great condition, I have found that the glow plug pre heat doesn't work on the ignition! The light on the dash doesn't illuminate either.

Everything else is A OK!

The pre heat does however work manually if I run a wire from the +ve battery terminal to the spade connector on the glow plug circuit underneath the EFI Turbo hose.

Does anyone know what I should be looking for? e.g. fuses or connectons?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what I have done, but since the post the temperature guage stopped working on the dash then started again last week!

I have uncoupled the cable to the glow plug thing under the Turbo hose and now the cold start light illuminates on the dash when the ignition is turned prior to starting!

Is this magic?
