Pretty sure it will fit (im sure someone will clear this up). One of the lads I go offroading with has an R380 box sat in his shed. I drove the vehicle when it was still in and it was very tight despite being quite high milage. He wants £150 for the gearbox and transfer......... call me on 07824396180

Yep, both an LT77 and an R380 gearbox will bolt on the back of a 300TDi engine with no problems.

yes it will. However......there is a seal between the transfer box and gearbox, if you are splitting the two, make sure you replace it. Be very careful when you rejoin the two boxes as the seal is very easily damaged.

iv finaly got round to fitting the 200tdi gear box to my 300tdi disco, and with a bit of a switch of parts got it to fit and work so my off roader wont be off the road much longer so this clears up any myths, also i would not recomend doing this job on your own, happy days.

yeah, you have to mess about with the linkages, i havent put the wires on yet so im hopeing the plugs are the same, its just a mega heavy unit to do without the proper kit, just for the record the clutches are the same.
