Time to make some changes
« on: May 19, 2009, 21:59:47 »
Ok, iv given up on big off roading, I just don't have the time any more to build a truck up or then get out and use it.

Iv got hold of a full roof and sides, and will be getting rid of the truck cab this week end,  Im thinking of using some dicky seats from a disco in the back has any one tryed this? Or any other ideas i dont like the prices of exmoor trim!

Im also going to get some new tyres as the Bfg 235/85's im running on are a little slippery in the wet for every day use I was planning to put my 35's on (see for sale :'()!
So now im thinking a 265/75 AT should help, has any one got any recommendations? Will a 265 mud be any better would be nice still be able to play a bit.

I've got 265/75 Machos on my 90 and i use it as my daily drive.

A 30 mile round trip to work come rain or shine mostly on dual carriageway, it drives great no slipping or sliding.

I find the worst thing is strong gusts of wind then things can get your bum twitching

Will be making the leap to 35" tyres soon and they will be on all the time, a good suspesion set up is the key
