td5 mpg/speed limit/

What mpg should I be getting from a td5 110 commercial on a/ts? I seem to be doing high 20s average and 30 last week, all on medium length trips so I'm quite pleased.
Also what's the top speed and is it limited, mine got to 94 and wouldn't go any higher (not that I'd want to) and stayed there, but the engine wasn't revving as hard as it does when you hold it in lower gear too long. more than quick enough for a defender though :)

MPG sounds about right...

Td5's are not speed limited (only by your right foot) - it is only the new Puma Defenders that have a limiter on as standard (82mph) - although this is easily removed  ;)

my td5 sits well at 105.
and no i wouldn't like to know the consumption!!

Also a customer of Ian's.

110 Commercial. Used to average 25mpg, now 28/9 mpg on varied roads without taking it too easy - and top speed indicated 105+ on the flat. (But not neccesarily at the same time and on private test track, naturally).

averaged 31 mph on a run last week, and had it to 85mph
