Define (EhEM) "not very good"

Fitting stanless braided hoses will not change the amount of grip on the disk surface, all it will do is limit the swell of the fleis and make the perdal feel slightly sharper.  IT WILL NOT MAKE YOUR TRUCK STOP ANY FASTER.
Chances are you either have diska that are rusted at the outer edge (common, especially the back) or that have glazed over.  You can try grlaze-busting them with emery cloth or replacing them, use branded ones.

I found my LSE had a set of disks in loverly condition, no scratches, flat polisished surface, great.  Only drawback, it wouldn't stop.

I fitted EBC, all round (took 2 years to finsh the job)  HOLY SNOT, it stops now all right.

Spongey brakes - hence the the Goodridge requirement - new fluid will help too.

It had new discs and pads fitted before I bought it, they are in good order - but don't know what make they are.

I'll change the brake lines 1st and take it from there. I also need them to be +2" to take into account the lift.

So, a supplier ............... ?????

I got mine on ebay for £10  Brand new - I think goodridge themselves were dabbling in using ebay for a bit a while back... Still haven't fitted them yet LOL  Have gotr them on my bike and Scoob though - big difference.

I put EBC sport grooved and dimpled disk on allround and EBC SUV supreme pads on too - I'm quite happy with them...
