Steering swivels

 :undecided: This Summers project on my 200TDI is the front axle. O/S/F Swivel, both sets of wheel bearings, two new discs and pads. I have no worries about who to buy my bits from but I read on the forums some time ago about quality of finish on the swivel ball. In my time mending green and black landys all the swivels were  chrome and we fitted gaiters  to the swivels. I don't think its worth the trouble of fitting gaiters but I wondered about the Teflon coated swivels being supplied. Any thoughts from our readers would be appreciated. :undecided:

The after market chrome swivels do seem to be a little thin and the teflon ones seem to get a good write up but I would spend the money on LR offical parts on something like that as you know the last ones lasted approx 10yrs+
