Shrinking disc
« on: June 01, 2009, 21:44:07 »
Has anybody used a shrinking disc on their Aluminium body panels?

Ive been in touch with an American company who make them and advertise them for use on Aluminium as well as steel; he says that he has had no issues with it on ally and had no feed back against using it on ally.

If im not happy he will refund the cost of the disc, (sounds confident huh?)

So thought id see if any of you guys have tried them, and what results are like.

Never heard of one. My colleague has used a shrinking hammer, the one with the rubber mounted head, to good effect.

Was it you who rang work today and spoke to Dave? Someone was asking if they could come and look at the 90 and I'm intrigued about who it was  :-k
