I took ours out and stamped on it, bag of ****.
I've had loads of alarms over the years and all of them have ended up being more troouble than they are worth. None are built to OEM standards so they just don't last the course.
Some of it might be down to poor fitting too of course.
My sisters has a Clifford on it I think, if the car isn't started every week it flattens the battery, plus the EAS doesn't work properly because the installer removed the central locking system. Youll find that with the RRC, most installers can't cope with how they work and butcher them instead of fitting the alarm properly. The again I've met a lot of installers who don't inspire my confidence.
The only alarm I'm really happy with is the one on Blue, I bought it from GAP security, who I would recomend. No more expensive than anyone else and their installer really knows his stuff.
But personally if it doesn't pay for itself in 2 years then don't bother, spend you cash on mechanical security instead.
