a good offer?
« on: June 04, 2009, 22:33:50 »
had one of those we buy any car companys from the local paper come and look at my range rover today, wanted aquick sale for the lrw show :) was asking $400 for it, not bad seeing as it came with 8 months test, 2 tax and all it needed was the turbo doing, but came with a spare engine. its already got a 2.8isuzu td fitted with a 3.1 as a spare. thee body is really good for its age and the interior is tidy but used. had a good look round it and then offered me £100 :( could have got thhat for the spare engine with a bit of effort!

and when they came there were 4 of them! think they may have been planining some high pressure tactics, but changed their minds when they saw me, my dad and phil c as we range from 6 foot to 6foot 5 :D

anyway have decided to fix it, made good progress on fixing it today and taken off both turbos, so it should be fixed next week

Being a complete cycnic, make sure it is secure, just to make sure it doesn't decide to go walkies during the dead of night, if you get my drift!
