Looking at the report, it seems to be more of a pay and play type setting than a lane. I'm also rather surprised that they don't seem to be bellowing about the fact that he was in a 4x4 at the time, as the BBC generally do.

youre right it does sound like a dedicated site rather than a lane. it doesn't say what club it was though.

One thing the BBC likes to do more than go on about 4x4as is go on about futball.  Reporting an unfortunate accident they manage 4 paragrpahs about Dunbarton futball club and a sentance about the accident.

Just like when the stand on the grid of F1 and rabbit about futball.

Been reported elsewhere, the vehicle crashed into a leccy pylon and got the cables wrapped round the vehicle, the driver got out as the power went off, but apparently the cables then became live again and he was electrocuted, absolutley horrendous.

It is a pay and play site on a large estate just North of Inverness.
